Daddy time

We prayed for a smooth transition when Sam got home. We prayed that Bud would know who his daddy is. No one has a playbook for that transition but man, I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome.

I can’t describe how my soul floats when I see these two together. Bud loves his Dada so much. In fact, the other day Sam told Bud that he loved him and out of nowhere Bud looks up and says, “I love you”. YALL! He’s never said that before and we both felt tears in our eyes and a song in our heart.

These two….. my heart.

I was wondering how the transition goes after such a long time away from each other, and am soooooo very happy that it’s been so easy. Just by looking at the photos one can sense how great you three fit in with each other.
    Cheers for your family Martha!

This sounds so cold, but a small part of my black, shriveled heart is glad that someone else has a toddler who won’t say I love you! I was starting to think I’ve been doing something long. Thanks for the hope!
